Your Guide to Applying with Wamly & Wamlyjobs

Part 1: How to Apply Using Wamlyjobs

Wamly has changed the application game. You can showcase your full potential immediately by not only applying but also uploading your documents, completing assessments, and video interviews all at once. It’s more than an application; it’s your ticket to landing the job faster.

Step 1: Search & Filter on Wamlyjobs

Use the search bar on the home page to find your perfect fit:
  1. Search Jobs: Type your role (e.g., "Designer" or "Driver") and follow the suggestions.
  2. Search Location: Filter by On-Site, Hybrid, or Remote. Use "Near Me" to find local opportunities and save on travel time.
  3. Filter Salary: Set your range so you only see roles that meet your requirements.

Step 2: Explore Your Options

Not sure what you're looking for? Scroll down to discover:
  1. Featured Jobs: Top-tier roles from our premium clients looking for talent like you.
  2. Most Recent Jobs: Jump to the front of the line by applying for the latest postings.
  3. Job Functions: Browse by Job Function (like "Education" or "Tech") to see all available roles in that sector.

Step 3: The Application

  1. Quick Apply: Ready to go? Hit "Quick Apply," enter your details, and start. (Bear in mind that the email address you use is permanent and cannot be changed).
  2. Tell Me More: Click the job card to read more about the role.
  3. After submitting the contact form, you will be prompted to enter a One-Time Pin (OTP) sent to your email address. Once you confirm the code, your application within the Wamly system will officially begin.
Notes
Note: Set aside at least 30 - 60  minutes  to complete your application and interview comfortably.

Part 2: The Candidate Journey

Once you hit apply, here is what to expect. Being prepared is half the battle!
  1. Fill in the Form: Basic details like name, date of birth, nationality and address and all other information and documents that the organisation might require for that role. The role you are applying for may also require that you give consent to run background checks on you in the future. If this is the case, you will be asked to give consent after submitting the form.
  2. Upload Documents (as part of the form): May include CV’s, Identity Documents, Qualifications. 
    1. Keep your ID, License, and CV as PDFs in one folder on your phone/computer for easy uploading.
    2. JPEG images not accepted.
    3. We cannot import your documents from a private cloud (Eg. Google Drive, One Drive, iCloud). 
  3. Skills Test: Some roles require a quick assessment. Find a quiet spot with a stable internet connection.
    1. Skills tests are timed.
    2. Questions depend on the scope and level of the role.
    3. You only have one attempt to answer each question within the allocated time.
  4. Video Interview: This is your time to shine! Smile, look professional, and check your background (What is in view behind you).

Step 1: The system will require a connection test

  1. Wamly will conduct a connection and browser check. If your upload speed is acceptable a green check mark will appear and allow you to proceed.
  2. Make sure you have the latest version of your browser e.g. Chrome, Safari, Firefox.

Step 2: The system will require a hardware test

  1. Wamly will prompt you to allow us access to your camera and microphone.
  2. Please check your device permissions if you experience any problems. Device permissions will be on your own phone or computer and only you can grant access. 
  3. Once these checks are completed Wamly will notify you that you’ve completed all the hardware tests and your internet connection is good.
  4. The system will prompt you to take a test question, where you will count to 10 to ensure you can see yourself and hear yourself on the playback before continuing. To see how everything works, click on practice, here you will get a practice interview question with a 15 second preptime.

Step 3: Start your interview

  1. Every question will start with a preparation screen and a countdown timer will show you how many seconds you have left to prepare your answer. Once the countdown timer runs out, your camera switches on and the recording starts automatically. 
  2. Details of your question will be shown below the countdown timer.  The answer time indicates the maximum time you have for this answer. If you cannot see the entire question just scroll down. 
  3. You can also skip the preparation time if you wish to start immediately.
  4. You can also submit your answer before the answer timer has run out by clicking “Submit”.
  5. There may be one or more video interview questions. In most cases, a breather is allowed between questions. You will not be able to see any of the upcoming questions; questions are only displayed during prep time and answer time.
  6. After you finish the interview a modal will appear thanking you for your application. Please provide a rating of your experience.
  7. You will receive a confirmation email once your application is successfully logged in Wamly and shared with the hiring team. From there, the relevant  administrators from the hiring team may review, rank, and shortlist candidates as the process moves forward.
  8. Please note that Wamly provides the interview platform but does not manage the hiring process. If you haven't received an update on your application for "Company X", we recommend reaching out to the organisation’s HR Team directly with your enquiry.
  9. Depending on the project requirements, the hiring company may send you links for assessments or background checks. These will be sent to the email address used for your application.
  10. As these requests are often time-sensitive, please complete them as soon as possible to avoid expiration.
