How to Set Up Your MIE API Key
We are excited to announce Wamly's integration with MIE! This feature seamlessly connects your background check provider with Wamly’s all-in-one hiring platform.
An API acts as a secure bridge between two systems. We use MIE's API to send check requests and display the results directly within your Wamly account.
To integrate your existing MIE account with Wamly, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Enable the Integration
Contact your Wamly account manager to request that the MIE integration be enabled for your account.

Step 2: Get Your MIE Credentials
Contact your MIE account manager and ask for the following API credentials:
Username
Client Key
Agent Client Key
Agent Key
API Password
Keep this information confidential.
You must also inform MIE that your results need to be sent to the following source: “WAMLY”.
Step 3: Configure the Integration in Wamly
Once the integration is enabled, follow these clicks:
Navigate to My Organisation and click on Integration
Select Add Integration and choose MIE.
Enter the MIE credentials from Step 2 and click Next.
After the system validates your credentials, click Configure.
You will be redirected to the background check configuration screen. Simply select MIE as your provider for each check, and you're ready to go!
