Job seekers on Wamlyjobs now get their own account. And inside Wamly, we have moved everything into one sidebar. Let’s take a peek at some of our latest updates.
Wamlyjobs: every job seeker gets an account: Job seekers can now sign in to Wamlyjobs and manage their applications from their own account. They simply enter their email address and use the code we send them, so there’s no password to remember.
Inside their account they can:
Why this matters to you: fewer half-finished applications, and better details on the people who apply.
Share our How-To Guide with your candidates so they know what to expect.
A warning when a job is about to close: If a job closes in the next five days, we now say so right on the candidate’s card. It counts down — “Closing in 3 days”, then “Closing today”. Fewer good people miss the cut-off.
Approvals can now check why a job is open: You can build an approval rule around the reason a role was opened. Pick from New Role, Backfill, Expansion, Project-based, Restructure, Seasonal, Talent Pool, Temporary or Other.
Driver checks: Wamly now offers driver checks via our integration partner. This includes the professional driving permit (PDP) check.
Charge MIE checks to the right branch: You can now link your MIE Cost Centre Branches to your Wamly Cost Centres. Every check goes to the right branch instead of one big account. Your finance team will be happy.
Approval emails you can read at a glance: We rewrote them. Now you see what’s needed, which project it’s for, and who asked — right away. No more long paragraphs.
Change your mind on an approval: An approver can now see their own decision and reset it, straight from the workflow card.
Salary rules now check the currency too: A salary rule now checks three things: the currency, the pay period, and the amount. So it reads like a full sentence — when the currency is ZAR, and the pay is monthly, and the salary is at least R50,000.
A full history: Project Activity History now covers every tab on the project, not just some of them. That includes who made and edited each version of the spec.
Landing Page Builder improvements: The Properties tab in the Landing Page Builder got an upgrade and now syncs with your Styles settings. Your layout changes now stick when you save. And bringing in another template’s code no longer breaks the page.
These change something you already do.
