Product Release: Launching the Power of Permissions (25 June 2026)

Advanced User & Group Permissions

The big one is officially here! You can now set up access at a truly granular level for every single user, making sure everyone on your team sees and does exactly what they need to, and nothing extra.

If you are an Organisation Admin you will be able to use our brand-new Users & Permissions window to effortlessly allocate Seats, assign Roles, and bring teams together into Groups. All of these features work hand-in-hand to keep your Wamly account secure, organised, and running beautifully.

Ready to dive in? Click here to check out our step-by-step Permissions How-To-Guide.

Raters Have New Visibility

Your raters might notice things look a little different as well. They now have visibility of the project details page to view general info, like Start and End Dates and assigned Members at a glance, plus a quick snapshot of how many candidates have registered, completed their application, and received ratings.

If you’ve granted them Stage Permissions, they’ll also be able to view and manage stages within their assigned projects seamlessly. We know introductions can take a moment, so we’ve put together a friendly Rater How-To Guide right here to help your team get started with confidence.

Manage Stages in Projects

While we were busy working on Stage Roles, we made sure you can still add, remove and reorder stages directly inside a project, but now it integrates seamlessly with Stages. Click here to read more about Stage Permissions.

We've also gone a step further: you can now assign stage roles and permissions to your project team members through a brand new UI, giving you finer control over who can do what at each stage.

Reports Got a Makeover

Reports weren’t quite coming to the party, so we’ve completely refreshed how they work across Applications, Users, Projects, and Email Logs. Now, filtering, pagination, and exports behave seamlessly in every single view. Go ahead and customise your columns and filter it just the way you want it.

Manage Tags in My Organisation

We’ve also added a Tags tab inside your My Organisation window, giving you one dedicated place to create and manage all your tags. Neat and tidy.

API & Developer Experience

Good news for your integration team. We’ve brought all integration tools together under My Organisation, and we’ve made the API more powerful and more accessible in the process.

  • Swagger documentation for Wamly Services is now openly accessible — making it easy for developers and integrators to explore and build against our API without hunting for docs. Just click the blue Documentation button.

  • Service accounts give integrations and API clients their own dedicated identity on Wamly. No more borrowing an admin user account — which previously meant integrations ended up with more permissions than they needed, and made it impossible to tell human actions apart from machine actions in audit logs.

Bug Fixes

A few sharp edges smoothed out.

  • Fixed a bug where the Dashboard’s “Unrated Applications” count was being shared across all raters on a project. Each rater’s count now reflects only their own outstanding work.

Happy Hiring!
