Wamlyjobs: Job Seekers How-To-Guide

Welcome to Wamlyjobs! We do things a bit differently here. Instead of searching through messy job boards, you can go straight to the companies you actually like, filter, apply and do your online interview all in one session.

The best part? You jump straight into the action. No more waiting weeks for that next step-email, on Wamly, you can do your skills tests and record your video interview the moment you apply. By showing off your personality and skills right away, you aren't just another CV on a pile.

Step 1: Search

Right on the home page, you’ll see a search bar. This is your starting point.

  1. Search Jobs: Type in the job name (like "Designer" or "Driver") in the search bar. A list of suggestions will pop up to help you choose the right title.

  1. Search Location: Pick your location. You can choose "Office," "Hybrid," or "Remote." If you’re looking for something close by, use the "Near Me" option, it uses your phone or computer's location to find jobs close to you.

Step 2: Explore Your Options

Sometimes you don't want to search. You just want to see what’s out there. If you aren't 100% sure what you’re looking for yet, just start scrolling down the main page.
  1. Featured Jobs: Keep an eye out for these! These are special vacancies from our premium clients. These companies are looking for top talent and have highlighted these roles specifically to get your attention.

  1. Jobs Near You: Let’s be honest, sitting in traffic for hours is a real mission. This filter shows you positions right in your immediate area. It’s perfect if you want to save on taxi fare or petrol and work closer to home, sweet, right?

  1. Most Recent Jobs: Tired of seeing old adverts? Scroll down to this section to see the "fresh" stuff. These are the very latest positions to be posted, so you can be among the first to get your application in.
  1. Search by Job Function or Industry: If you want to see everything in one field, navigate to "All Job Functions." For example, you can click on "Education" to see every single job available within that specific sector. It’s a great way to narrow things down if you know your industry but not the specific role yet.

Step 3: The Application (Two Ways to Do It)

The "Quick Apply" See a job and you’re ready to go? Hit Quick Apply, fill in your details, click "Let’s Go," and you’re done with the first part!

The "Tell Me More" If you want more info first, click on the job card. It will show you the start date, when applications close, and how long the process takes.
Notes
Note: Make sure you have at least 30 minutes free for the interview part so you can test your mic and camera!

Step 4: The Candidate Journey (The Nitty Gritty)

Once you hit apply, here is what happens next. Being prepared is half the battle! Visit our Candidate Area, it’s packed with resources to help you prepare.

Here are the highlights of what to expect:
  1. Fill in the Form: Name, address, and the basics.
  2. Upload Documents: Pro Tip - Keep your ID, Driver’s Licence, Matric Certificate, and CV as PDFs in a folder on your phone. It makes uploading them a breeze!
  3. Skills Test: Some jobs ask for a quick test. Find a quiet spot with good internet so you can focus.
  4. Video Interview: This is the fun part! Smile and look professional. It’s your first impression, so check your background and your audio. Take a deep breath, you’ve got this!
  5. Psych Assessments: These just check how you think and if you’ll fit in with the team. Just be yourself.
  6. Background Checks: The final stretch! This covers things like criminal records or verifying your drivers license etc.
