    •    Tap the Settings icon on the Home page

    •    In the Settings screen that appears, tap Safari

    •    All Safari’s settings appear

    •    Select Advanced

    •    Select Experimental Features

    •    Toggle Media Recorder on

    Step 1 - Press Windows key + R

    Step 2 - When the run dialogue appears enter "ms-settings:privacy-microphone"

Sign-up & Login FAQs

  • How to sign up as a new user?

    Before registering as a new user, you must have a newly created Organisation or receive an invitation from an existing Organisation System Manager.

    Navigate to your email invite.

    Click on the Signup link to create a password.

    Create a New password.

    Confirm the password.

    Click "Login".

    You will be redirected to the Wamly Login page.

  • How to login to Wamly?

    This guide is for users who have an existing Wamly account. Read the new user sign-up guide if you are a new user.

    Visit the login page: https://my.wamly.io

    Enter your email address and password.

    Click "Login".

    No Multi-Factor Authentication Configured

    If you do not have Multi-Factor Authentication configured, you will be asked to configure MFA. Follow the How to Configure Muti-Factor Authentication? guide to continue.

    Multi-Factor Authentication Configured

    If you already have Multi-Factor Authentication configured, you will be asked to select a Multi-Factor Authentication method to log in.

    Enter the OTP that was sent to the email address/phone number.

    Click "Verify".

  • How to Configure Multi-Factor Authentication?

    If you log into Wamly without having Multi-Factor Authentication configured, you will be asked to configure MFA.

    There are two MFA methods that can be configured:

    • Email One-Time PIN
    • SMS One-Time PIN

    We strongly recommend that you configure at least 2 MFA methods to prevent you from being locked out of your account if you lose one of your MFA methods.

    Email One-Time PIN

    To add an email address as an MFA method, click "Add" under the "Email One-Time PIN" heading.

    Enter an email address to verify for MFA. You cannot use your primary Wamly email.

    Click "Next".

    Enter the OTP that was sent to your email address to verify your identity.

    Click "Verify".

    SMS One-Time PIN

    To add a phone number as an MFA method, click "Add" under the "SMS One-Time PIN" heading.

    Enter a phone number to verify for MFA. Ensure that you use the international number format when entering your phone number.

    An international phone number consists of a plus sign (+), followed by the country code, city code, and local phone number. For example, if a number in South Africa (country code "27") has the phone number "(074) 123 5678", you should enter "+27 74 123 5678".

    To construct your international phone number, adhere to these guidelines:

    • Start with a plus sign (+).
    • Remove any leading zeros or special calling codes.
    • For phone numbers in Argentina with the country code "54," include a "9" between the country code and area code. Eliminate the prefix "15" so that the final number comprises 13 digits: +54 9 XXX XXX XXXX.
    • For phone numbers in Mexico with the country code "52," you need to have a "1" after "+52", even if they're Nextel numbers.

    Click "Next".

    Enter the OTP that was sent to the phone number

    Click "Verify"

    Click "Continue" to proceed to the Wamly App.

  • How to log in as a Candidate?

    If you cannot access your interview via the link in your invite email, try using this login method.

    Visit this page https://my.wamly.io/candidates

    Enter your email address and click "next".

    You will receive an OTP via the email address you supplied in step 2.

    You will be required to enter the OTP code received in step 3.

    If this is your first time using Wamly, you will be required to complete your profile details ad then directed to your dashboard.

    If you have used Wamly before on this email address, you will be logged directly into your dashboard.


  • Who does the data belong to

    The data belongs to the client

  • Where is my data being stored

    Currently, all data is stored via AWS in their data center in Ireland. This will be moved to South Africa once AWS implements the required functionality in this region

    NB! none of your data will ever be deleted without your explicit consent

  • Default Invitation Template
    Below is the default template we use to send out invitations to candidates. If you are using a custom invitation template you can use this as a guideline of important information to include.

    Hello #CANFNAME#,
    You have been invited by #ORGNAME# to participate in a Wamly video interview. 
    A video interview is in all aspects the same as a traditional interview, except that you will not be interviewed by a person, but will be presented with a set of pre-selected questions and your answers will be recorded using your own device's camera and microphone. 
    Your recorded interview will then be available for review by the interview panel.
    It is very important that you prepare for this interview in the same way you would for a normal interview.
